I would absolutley recommend the hotel. The rooms were awesome, the staff was awesome as was everything about the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach. It was a great location with a sweet pool on the Intercoastal waterway with a quick walk across the street to the beach. 15 minutes from Miami and South Beach and 15 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale. It was definetly the place to be. Flights were good and the car was excellent.

Our only issue was with Hertz upon check-in at Ft. Lauderdale airport. When we arrived and got to the Hertz counter there was 32 people in line including us. There was only one person working at the desk and at the Hertz club gold desk there were 4 people working with only 4 people in line. Lets just say that it got very interesting for them to explain why this was happpening. It took almost an hour before we got our car but after that everything was golden. That was really our only issue all weekend.

We hit Nikki Marina and Justin's Lounge along with Cheescake Factory. Saturday night we got dressed up and did Timpano's in downtown Ft. lauderdale for a nice evening out.

Hey Julia -- I wanted to tell you how wonderful our trip was. Everything went very smoothly. Venice is really beautiful. Our hotel was lovely and in a really great spot to get around the city. Very, very nice and comfortable-- and I would recommend it to anyone.

Florence was absolutely great too. It was so nice to spend that kind of time there and really see the city. Plus hotel was fabulous -- would also recommend it. And it too, was in a really great spot. Plus the people at the front desks of both hotels were very helpful with restaurants and city maps and directions.

The only real problem -- and it wasn't really a problem but we probably bit off more than we could chew ... was the driving in Florence. We had no problem with the Auto Europe and Euro Car folks but my husband was a bit nervous driving in Florence. They are pretty crazy drivers. Plus the parking in the city was kind of expensive. SO we only took the car for one day! And drove to Pisa. I was a bit disappointed since I wanted to see more of Tuscany. But that will be our next trip with you. Traveling more in the countryside and renting a car is a smaller town.

Thanks again for all your help to make this a very memorable and enjoyable trip for the two of us.

P.S. The tours you set up were great too. Especially at the Uffzi in Florence. We had a group of 8 people with one guide and got a very thorough tour of the gallery.

Sorry for the delay in responding to you, but our trip to Miami was fantastic.  The hotel and beach were both beautiful.  Honestly, at first Morgan and I were a little out of place in the hotel because of how upscale it is, but we got over that pretty quickly.  The beach was clean, quiet, and not at all crowded.  The hotel is about a half hour cab ride ($28) from the airport.  South Beach and all its attractions are only like a 5 - 10 minute cab ride ($10 - $15) from the hotel.  We probably would have been better off renting a car, because some of the attractions we wanted to check out from the information packet you gave us are pretty far from the hotel.

Well we're back two weeks now and I finally have a chance to drop you a line.
The trip was great. Everything came off without a hitch. The hotels you chose were "over the top" fantastic. They had every amenity and then some. In general, the locations were superb and the facilities were beautiful. In fact, the hotel grounds were the prettiest areas we saw in Hawaii.

What an absolute pleasure it was to be with you and your husband on the June 22nd trip to Sanford/Orlando.  Not only was it a wonderful opportunity to see and learn about our exceptional alternative to MCO Orlando and to experience Allegiant Air, as both were eye opening delights, but it was so perfectly orchestrated.  You did a fantastic job for all of us.  On behalf of Bernie and Angela, I wish to than you  for this very educational and fun trip!

There were so many adventures packed into our short time in Florida, but the things you treated us to and the venues we were able to take advantage of were quite fantastic.  We were certainly able to experience the variety of activities which would please anyone wanting to see beyond Disney World!
The Rivership Romance, such an unexpected delight:  Daytona Speedway, fascinating, amazing and thrilling: Canoeing, peacefully refreshing fun:
the Zoological Park, super charming, relaxing family area: "Black Hammock Airboat, beyond exhilarating and yummy dining:  The flea market and antiquing, a must and always fun.  I was thrilled with the knowledge that I as able to return home with.  I know that Allegiant and the Sanford airport are what my husband and I will use when we slip down to Florida for our quick "get-aways"

This was a perfect trip because of all of your hard work and for the time spent organizing it.  Thank you, Mary Ellen, for the opportunity to experience this excellent trip.

It's hard to believe that it was almost a week ago that we were in Vegas looking for places to get married. I guess it's good that we didn't because my wife would have been upset. (The winners of the WMGK contest wanted to renew their vows.  We found the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel the perfect place!)
